Tokyo, Mt Fuji, Hakone, Miyajima, Hiroshima & Kyoto


Day 1 – Sunday 10th November - Melbourne to Tokyo

Depart Melbourne Airport for your flight to Tokyo via Bangkok in late afternoon.


Day 2 – Monday 11th November -  Tokyo      

Arrive at Tokyo in the early morning. Your local guide will welcome you at the airport. Visit Tokyo Skytree, Imperial palace and Ginza district (for lunch and shopping) by chartered bus.

Day 3 – Tuesday 12th November - Tokyo immersed in Japanese tradition and history in Asakusa. You will visit Sensoji, one of the oldest temples in Tokyo. Explore more at Edo-Tokyo Museum in the afternoon.

Day 4 – Wednesday 13th November – Mt Fuji & Hakone

Transfer to Hakone by JR express train, Shinkansen (bullet train). Enjoy the view at the 5th station of Mt. Fuji. You will experience a traditional Japanese dinner at a ryokan.

Day 5 – Thursday 14th November - Hiroshima

Transfer to Hiroshima by Shinkansen. You will visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and Park. Enjoy Okonomiyaki, (Japanese savoury pancake) for dinner.

Day 6 – Friday 15th November - Miyajima

Visit Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima Island. Enjoy great views from a ropeway on Miyajima

Day 7 – Saturday 16th November - Kyoto

Transfer to Kyoto by Shinkansen in the afternoon.

Day 8 – Sunday 17th November - Kyoto

Participate in a guided tour. You will visit Kinkakuji (Golden Pavilion), Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, Nijojo, Kiyomizu temple and Ginkakuji temple with your local guide.

Day 9 – Monday 18th November - Kyoto

Spend the day at your leisure.

Day 10 – Tuesday 19th November Osaka to Melbourne

Check out of your room this morning. Depart from Kansai airport to Melbourne for your flight home via Bangkok in the evening.


Day 11 – Wednesday 20th November - Arrive Melbourne       

Arrive at Melbourne airport in the afternoon.
